1. Screenshot of the Week Yep, it's the famous SotW contest, but now in a new flavor! We know that there are a lot of good screenshot makers out there, so we want to see some of your best work. Your participation in submitting and voting will keep this event running! For more information, click here.
2. Gemstone Quest Collection Have you ever browsed through any of the dozens and dozens of older quests, completely overwhelmed by the vast quantity? Well, the monthly Gemstone event will pick an excellent older quest to feature. Of course, you can vote for one of several nominated quests. For more information, click here.
As always, to participate, you must register at the Armageddon Games Forums. It's quick, easy, and free. Also, a quick reminder that the open works Expo will resume in July.

| Quest submissions posted by: erm2003 | March.27.2008 | Just a quick reminder for everyone. We do not accept demos for submissions in the quest database. You are free to post a link to a demo in the ZC Quest Discussion forum if you would like. Submissions that do not contain completed quests will be deleted.
Edit by Pineconn: Also, submissions must be custom quests. A custom quest is defined as "a completed and working quest that you put the majority of work into creating." While we do accept 1st Quest remakes, they must be truly phenomenal, not cheap edits.
Finally, make sure that your quest number (in the header) is set to 0. Any quests with quest numbers that are not set to 0 will be delayed in processing or deleted.

| Quest Database now accepting submissions again posted by: rocksfan13 | September.26.2007 | The quest database is now open for all submissions for Zelda Classic version 2.5 beta and below.
So, bring them on in!
If there are any issues with submitting, please report them to a Quest DB staff member immediately so we may locate the issue.
Edited by Anarchy_Balsac - Also, if I am on the forum when you submit your quest, you may PM me and I will add it. I know many of you are anxious to see your quests go through by now.
Edited again by Anarchy_Balsac - For those of you wondering, yes, we are in fact accepting quests from beta builds. However, we ask that if you submit quests from these builds, you announce in bold lettering not only that you are using a beta, but which specific one it was built in. We also request that you link to this build in your description.

| QDB is nearing completion! posted by: Pineconn | September.25.2007 | Hello all!
The official Zelda Classic Quest Database is almost ready to accept quests for ZC v2.10 and below! However, the staff asks that you do not submit your quests quite yet, as a few QDB bugs are being fixed by DarkDragon. We promise that the QDB will accept quests within the next week or so, so expect an announcement to be made when this happens.
In other news, several AGN members have volunteered and been given the authority to run the QDB, including Anarchy_Balsac, bigjoe, erm2003, franpa, Gleeok, Old-skool, rocksfan13, and myself. Along with moderators and administrators, a ton of people are updating the site, so you can expect a lot more information to be added to it very soon.
Edited by Anarchy_Balsac - Also, to those of you reporting bugs, check the FAQ before reporting problems with 1st and 2nd quests. I updated it to cover most of the kinds of things that have been reported about those in the bug forums.

| It's not just Zelda anymore posted by: Tygore | December.03.2006 | Ordinarily, the discussion of the betas and beta-developed quests is kept off the main site, because of the natural buggy nature of betas. I'm going to make an exception here, because this is just too cool. Forum member Saffith has made Pong using the new ZC scripting language. Try it out if you want a taste of what a truly creative mind can accomplish with ZC. You can download it from this thread: http://armageddongames.net/forums/showthread.php?t=93948.

| The Re-Release of a Classic posted by: JayeM | June.17.2004 | The very first custom quest ever made, New Quest by Nightmare, has now been re-released after four years for 1.92 Beta 183. It is identical to the original with the same 10 dungeons, plus an elusive 11th dungeon. Can you find it? This dungeon is optional and you can beat the game without it. Caution for newcomers: Nightmare does not make easy quests!
This release heralds the arrival of its sequel, New Quest 2, coming soon to a QDB near you.

| The Quest Database is Now Open! posted by: Eckels | June.07.2004 | The Quest Database is now open!
Now before you go running over to check it out, let me tell you about a few of the new features of this Quest Database.
This database is sortable in almost any way imaginable. You can sort the database alphabetically, by Quest Name, Quest Author, Tileset, or ZC Version. You can sort it chronologically by when the quests were added to the Database, or by when they were last updated. And of course, you can sort it by the ratings that the quests have received from users. All you have to do to sort the database in any of these ways, is to click on the word at the top of the column.
Any column can be sorted in either ascending order or descending order. To change the order of the sort, click on the column header again, and you'll see the direction of the small white arrow change, to indicate the different direction.
You can also sort the database by Tileset, Version, or the Letter the Quest Name starts with. To view all quests that use a certain tileset, simply click on the name of the tileset in the table, and the page will refresh to display only quests that use that tileset. The same principle goes for ZC Versions. To display Quests that start with a particular letter, click the desired letter in the bar at the top of the Table.
You can also search the database by using the form at the bottom of the Main listing page, or by using the Search Page. You can search any of the following fields: Quest Name, Quest Author, Story, Description, Credits, or all at once.
The Pool
There's a brand new way to find new quests to play, and it's called The Pool. You'll have to experience it yourself to know what it's all about. Links to it are in the menubar to the left.
I've put a lot (LOT) of work into this QDB, and I believe it to be the best and most useful Quest Database ever constructed. I hope you find it helpful in finding new quests to play.
Enjoy!
